To check if you a warrant for your arrest you can go to the courthouse and have them check. You’ll probably not get arrested there and then, unless your crime is serious. If your warrant was issued in another jurisdiction, it’s not certain that they can find it.

The only downside here is that you have to be a member of such a site before you can get your hand on the information… but, it’s usually just a small one-time fee and then you can use the service all you want for a full year or so…

I personally use GovRegistry.us to do background checks. They are pretty cheap and have the largest database on the internet with more than 1 billion records…
